Axial Flux Motor
Designed and built an Axial Flux Motor for myself mostly as a learning experience and to see if I could. It was an evening project that I worked on after doing some research, and I was glad to see that it worked first try. I plan on rebuilding the motor with a steel core and a hallbach array in the near future.

This project was mostly done to reinforce what I knew about motors, and it was a good experience. It uses some neodynium magnets that I purchased off of Amazon, some magnet wire, and some skateboard bearings. It runs off some hobby speed controllers that I scavenged. Winding the stator was a little bit annoying, and since I wasn't very well versed in the mathematics at the time, I wounded the coils based off of volume rather than a specific number.
